I can see souls
Posted byI know, it sounds like a line from the Sixth Sense -- "I see dead people." But apparently it's true. I can see souls. *sigh*
I'm told it's a gift. Ha!
I guess it is. But up until now, it usually just gets me in trouble. Combine compassion and empathy with the ability to see deep into someone within minutes of meeting them (sometimes even just talking online), and imagine the possibilities that can go awry -- esp when Satan intentionally tries to pervert the gifts God gives us. That would basically sum up the story of my life.
But as they say, knowledge is power. So hopefully I can learn to see some one's soul (and their pain) without feeling compelled to take on their pain or rescue them or heal them, etc.
So what is your particular 6th sense? It's not necessarily intuitive; it could be anything that combined with your spiritual gift and personal experiences makes you unique for God's kingdom and allows you to reach someone or accomplish something no one else could.

I don't know if it's necessarily a sixth sense, but I've been involved in faith healings before -- both healing and being healed.
That's a trip.
I see souls too...and pain, weariness, struggles etc...and I want God to fix them all. Especially children.
So I do random acts of God-stuff. I'm liable to stop someone in the store I've noticed having a particularly hard day with their kids and noticing the mom (and kids) sure could use a few extra bucks...so they get a "Gift from God" in the parking lot.
It could be anyone. I wrote in my blog about a guy who was bent over from the waist doing lawn work. He could barely move...it was a cool thing. "Crooked Mission" was name of the story. It broke my heart, not his condition, but his spirit touched mine.
